I'm getting ready to leave San Francisco to fly back to Bellingham. Before I do, I thought you might be interested in some of what went on behind the scenes at today's AutoCAD 2010 rollout.
This is what most people saw today when they logged into the webcast.
Here's what it actually looked like as the video crew turned Autodesk's offices into a total TV studio.
After the actual rollout webcast, we broke off into several one-on-one interviews. These will air over the next several weeks.
We also got to meet with many members of the AutoCAD development team who we don't often get to see. Pictured here are (from left to right): Yan Schober (PDF enhancements and icons, formerly worked on Autodesk Impression), Melissa Dawe (usability studies), Shekhar Kaedekar (3D printing, customization, and migration), Matt Stein (ribbon bar and application menu changes), and Jon Page (enhancements for DWG and manager of the development group).
And finally, here's our group of illustrious bloggers.
Watch this space over the next days and weeks as I provide detailed looks at many of the new features in AutoCAD 2010.
